UST Air Conditioning is the heating tune-up company Hana residents call first. Our technicians arrive the same day in most cases, diagnose the real problem and complete most heating tune-up jobs on the first visit.
Because we work in Hana every week, our technicians know the equipment common to Maui homes, the corrosion the trade winds cause and the parts that fail first. That local experience means faster diagnosis, fewer return trips and repairs that last.
Every heating tune-up visit in Hana starts with a full diagnostic and a written, flat-rate quote. You approve the price before any work begins, and if the numbers point toward replacement instead of repair we will show you both so the decision is yours.
Maui packs several climates into one island. In Hana you may be cooling against Kihei-style sun and humidity or heating on a 45-degree Kula night, sometimes in the same week. Heat pumps and mini-splits that do both are the systems we install and repair most.

Straightforward pricing, showed up when they said they would, and the office followed up a week later to make sure everything was still working. That is rare these days.
Kawika O., HanaCalled three companies for an installation quote. UST was not the cheapest but they were the only ones who measured the house and did a load calculation. The system is perfectly sized.
Jennifer C., HanaResponsive and polite from the first call to the final handshake. The AC not cooling problem was a frozen coil from a dirty filter and airflow issue, all sorted the same day.
Leilani K., HanaOctober or November, before the first cold snap in the mauka and upcountry areas.
