For reliable emergency AC repair in Puako, the Big Island homeowners trust UST Air Conditioning. We handle every brand and system type, from ductless mini-splits and heat pumps to central air and packaged units.
Whether you are in a single-family home, a condo with strict HOA access rules or a vacation rental with guests arriving, UST Air Conditioning coordinates the emergency AC repair appointment with whoever needs to be involved and leaves the space clean.
We schedule emergency AC repair in Puako around your life, with morning, afternoon and evening windows, text updates when the technician is on the way and 24/7 emergency dispatch for the calls that cannot wait.
The Big Island asks more of a heating and cooling system than any other island. Puako homes deal with humidity and salt near the coast, vog drifting from Kilauea, and cool nights at elevation where a heat pump earns its keep. We size and service equipment for that range.

The mini-split in our bedroom kept dripping down the wall. Two other companies never called back. UST came the next morning, cleared the drain, cleaned the coil and showed me photos of the mold they removed.
Nalani B., PuakoOur condo building has strict access rules and they handled everything with the resident manager. New air handler installed in a day with no drama.
Lehua D., PuakoOur restaurant's rooftop unit failed on a Friday. They came that evening, got us cooling again with a temporary fix and replaced the compressor the following week around our hours.
Momi E., PuakoAfter-hours calls carry a modest dispatch fee, which we tell you on the phone before we roll a truck. The repair itself is priced from the same flat-rate book we use during the day.
No cooling with vulnerable people in the home, water damage in progress, electrical smells, or a rental with guests arriving. If it cannot wait until morning, call.
In most service areas, yes. Call (855) 459-5498 and the dispatcher will give you a real arrival window.
Salt and humidity corrode electrical parts and coils, and dirty coils make the compressor overheat during the hottest weeks. A spring tune-up prevents most of these breakdowns.
If the system is under 10 years old and the repair costs less than a third of a new system, repair usually makes sense. Older R-22 systems and units with salt-damaged coils are usually better replaced.
Live dispatchers 24/7. Same-day service in most areas. Flat-rate pricing before work begins.
