Oahu's leeward side bakes from May through October, and the trade winds that keep Kahuku bearable also carry salt straight into outdoor condenser coils. Systems here work hard almost every day of the year, which is why we see so many worn capacitors, corroded contactors and refrigerant leaks at brazed joints.
