For reliable AC compressor repair in Kihei, Maui homeowners trust UST Air Conditioning. We handle every brand and system type, from ductless mini-splits and heat pumps to central air and packaged units.
Because we work in Kihei every week, our technicians know the equipment common to Maui homes, the corrosion the trade winds cause and the parts that fail first. That local experience means faster diagnosis, fewer return trips and repairs that last.
Whether you are in a single-family home, a condo with strict HOA access rules or a vacation rental with guests arriving, UST Air Conditioning coordinates the AC compressor repair appointment with whoever needs to be involved and leaves the space clean.
Maui packs several climates into one island. In Kihei you may be cooling against Kihei-style sun and humidity or heating on a 45-degree Kula night, sometimes in the same week. Heat pumps and mini-splits that do both are the systems we install and repair most.

Kiana P., KiheiHonest people. I was told by another company I needed a new system. UST found a refrigerant leak at a fitting, fixed it and charged the system properly. That was two summers ago and it still runs great.
Ashley F., KiheiIt varies by tonnage and warranty status. Under manufacturer warranty you pay labor and refrigerant only; out of warranty we compare the repair against a new outdoor unit.
Compressors are sealed and are replaced rather than rebuilt. What we can repair are the start components that often mimic a dead compressor.
Low refrigerant, dirty coils causing overheating, electrical problems and salt corrosion of connections. Annual maintenance prevents most of these.
